Thunderbay Bluesband is a Swedish blues band with roots in the south Swedish east coast. The region is known for having nurtured several blues bands, with Mönsterås blues festival as a mecca for blues music.
Thunderbay Bluesband is from Oskarshamn which is located a stone's throw from Mönsterås. Our music has been inspired and influenced by the music that originates from the delta area of the American South. The band was formed in spring 2017 and had as its first goal to be able to participate in Mönsterås blues festival the same year.
Typical of Thunderbay Bluesband is the variety of guitar arrangements with slide guitar and lap steel guitar.
